Job description
As a Purchaser at ABF, you play a key role in our daily sourcing operations and contribute directly to the reliability and growth of our stock. Working as part of the Purchase Team, you support both customer-driven sourcing requests and stock replenishment activities, while ensuring accurate data, strong supplier relationships, and smooth procurement processes. In a fast-paced, international environment, you balance operational excellence with a proactive, commercially driven mindset.

What you will confidently deliver:
Handle daily sourcing requests.
Prepare and analyze replenishment lists with a focus on availability and margin.
Maintain accurate ERP administration, reporting, and invoice checks.
Manage supplier relationships, negotiations, and performance.
Identify new suppliers and share commercial leads with Sales.
Willing to travel abroad to attend meetings or events if necessary (1-4/year).
What you bring with you:
Affinity with technical products (bearings, electric motors or similar) is a strong advantage, and willingness to quickly build product knowledge is essential.
At least 3 years experience in procurement, purchasing, or a similar commercial role.
Clear, concise, and professional written communication skills.
HBO working and thinking level, with a completed relevant commercial education.
English language (min. B2 level).
Strong commercial, analytical, and negotiation skills.
Our recruitment process

A background check (VOG) and an assessment may be part of the selection procedure.

We are an e-commerce business with a strong IT focus. We have an in-house development team that improves our software daily, making us agile and independent. Job requirements
What we offer you:
Market-conforming salary + holiday allowance + year-end bonus.
Location: Eindhoven.
28 vacation days, with the option to purchase an additional 5 days.
One week per year working abroad.
2 days per week working from home (based on 40 hours p/w).
