Job description

As an Inside Sales Representative for the German speaking market, you are responsible for managing and maintaining existing accounts for ABF. You work proactively to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction. Your responsibilities include building and maintaining strong relationships, initiating upselling opportunities, and accurately following up on orders and quotations. As an Inside sales Representative for the German speaking market, you play an important role in driving revenue growth and supporting the success of our sales team.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Act as the first point of contact for all matters concerning key accounts.

  • Handle quotations, orders, and customer inquiries accurately and promptly.

  • Collaborate with Account Managers to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities.

  • Develop a SMART sales plan for your region, including actionable KPI’s.

  • Independently manage and expand relationships with existing customers.

  • Analyze customer needs to uncover and implement tailored upselling and cross-selling solutions.

 

Who you are:

  • 1 - 3 years of experience in a commercial role.

  • You are fluent in German and English (minimum level C1). Proficiency in another language, especially a Nordic one, is a plus.

  • Commercially minded, proactive and a good communicator.

  • You hold a driving license (B).

ABF is a strongly internationally oriented trading company, with 14 million products in stock. Although the market we operate in is conservative, ABF as a company certainly is not. We are an e-commerce business with a strong IT focus. We have an in-house development team that improves our software daily, making us agile and independent. Only 6% of our customers are in the Netherlands; the remaining customers are primarily in other European countries and are further fragmented worldwide.

What we offer you:

  • Salary of € 39.060,- - € 46.872,- gross per year (including holiday allowance for full-time employment).

  • Home office allowance of €2.65 per day, plus tools and flexibility to work from home two days per week.

  • Option to work from abroad one week per year.
